Also referred to as The Highway Men, and Ruby Park.
The Highway Nation originally used to be a trailer park community living near the highway South of Louisville. The trailer park was originally called Ruby Park. They were a community that was looked down upon by the citizens of Louisville. They were often referred to as rednecks or trailer trash. After the initial outbreak, most people of the community left and never returned. Only two neighbors decided to stay and defend the trailer park. Johnny Scrap and Michael Furrows, also known as Needle. They cleared the park of the undead and started a living during the apocalypse, they'd mostly hang back, listen to music and smoke up their weed stash. Needle would reach out to other people through the radio to fix up clothes in return for some food, weed or ammo. Not long after living peacefully into their trailer parks, they met a group consisting of mostly hoodlums. They bundled their powers and created a living community in the trailer park again, living their own kind of lifestyle through the apocalypse.
The community that's living in Ruby Park this day is a mixture of hoodlums and rednecks. Everyone lives out of their trailers. They move chaotic at times, but they're still functional. If it's one thing they know it's surviving, they were used to that before the outbreak, mainly financially. Most people in Ruby Park now come from poor backgrounds and tough neighborhoods. Their day to day life is fueled by booze, drugs and adrenaline, it's what keeps them up in this new world. They're used to robbing and extorting other survivors to make an easier life for themselves. They take what they want by force. The hierarchy is loose within the community and not every member of the community is a so-called bandit, some people are dedicated to building up and securing the trailer park, making sure the camp got food, water, electricity and other essentials. They call themselves The Highway Nation.
Ruby Park is located near the highway South of Louisville. The community used to have a highly profitable gas station and bar that was always occupied due to the high traffic area.

They stop a van trying to get out of Louisville and tax him for any valuables. The man was calm and gave some ammo to get through. The Highway Men are often after drugs, ammo, alcohol or food when they set up roadblocks.
